Oftentimes, people want to give back but they don’t know how. This is one type of volunteering you may have never considered: hospice.
While I in the early stages of my San Diego video production company, one of my favorite clients was San Diego Hospice. Even though they’re no longer operational, I’m still inspired by the volunteers who I interviewed from their various programs.
I loved seeing how just a little bit of time could bring so much beautiful sunshine to someone who was at end-of-life. Below are the stories of the three different types of volunteers who I interviewed:
Would you ever be interested in doing this type of volunteer work? Have you worked at a hospice yourself? I’d love to hear about your experiences.
I just started my blog a few months ago and discovered this site just two weeks now, and wow…So grateful for you. Thanks for the post. awesome..
I’m extremely inspired with your writing abilities and also
with the structure on your weblog. Is that this a paid
topic or did you modify it yourself? Either way stay
up the nice quality writing, it is rare to peer a great weblog like this one today..
Thank you for your comment! I wasn’t paid to write any of my posts. I’m passionate about spotlighting the wisdom of our seniors and honoring them with activities that are both fun and meaningful. I think that’s what drove me to start doing legacy video production on the side, and to eventually write my how-to book for Amazon called Forever Legacy Book.
